Looking for a Tasting Group?

Welcome!

Tasting Group functions as a virtual blind tasting group for wine students or aspiring students and industry professionals.

This is a valuable opportunity to practice blind tasting for exam purposes, but also helpful in learning to identify certain varieties and become more confident in tasting! We have thoughtful conversations, but also tame the intimidation and have a lot of fun with it!

Here’s what happens when you join us!

you train your palate to identify classic varieties (by integrating benchmark notes AND personal tasting notes)

you build confidence in communicating what you’re tasting and feel a ‘heck of a lot’ more prepared if you’re going into an exam setting

you become a part of an awesome community⁣⁣ and form relationships with others in the wine world

How to Join:

1. Click on the experience you’d like below (2 or 4 bottles)

2. Fill out the form for the group

3. Follow the link after the form to purchase the wines

Along with blind bundles, you’ll have the option of jumping on a member call each month over Zoom on the first or second Monday evening of the month (see dates below) 5pm PT / 8pm ET.

On the call, we blind taste with others and talk about the wines.  Occasionally we have industry professionals hop on the call to add additional perspective!

We start in a whole group, divide into breakout groups of 6-10 to go through the wines, and then meet back in our whole group to reveal, talk about and ask questions about the wine.

Members are at all levels of wine knowledge. If you are studying for a specific exam, I’m confident that you will always be tasting alongside a few people within your certification or at your level. If you aren’t studying for an exam, you’ll learn a lot and enjoy the process!

I have been a part of this tasting group since the very first day and I recommend it to any wine lover of any level.
I learned that it’s not just about getting the correct varietal, but what thought process led you to that grape. I learn something new on every tasting, and I’ve made some incredible friends from all over the country.

Raquel Costa

This blind tasting group has given me so much confidence in talking about wine, I have built so many friendships, and I’ve learned so many different things at each tasting. I cannot recommend this tasting group enough!

Jasmine Wehbe

Love how I am constantly challenged with the variety of wines each month! I learn so much from listening to what the other tasters are saying about each wine and how it makes me think out of the box when deducting each wine.
