GUIDES
Anyone who has ever taken a wine service exam knows the sheer terror of walking into the unknown!
…Even those of us who have worked in the service industry for a long time.
What are the right steps? What are they going to ask? What if I don’t know the answer?
When I was studying for this exam, I worked at a ‘tasting menu’ restaurant. Wine pairings came with most orders, so the chances of someone ordering a bottle of sparkling for the table were actually very few and far between. I did most of my practice at home, around a table of stuffed animals, my husband rattling off questions, and kids screaming in the background.
Whether you feel like you don’t have enough fine dining experience, think you’re not in the right environment to pass, or just want some additional sommelier service practice, I have some resources!
I built a system. A way to practice service at home so I could fine-tune everything. These guides and products are exactly what I used to help me pass my exam and can be beneficial for you if this is something you are working toward!
